Guest speaker for 2024 will be Richard Shaw MD, Liverpool, England; Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial / Head & Neck Surgeon. Session topics include complex maxillary reconstruction and current evidence in the management of osteoradionecrosis.
Target Audience
This course is designed for oral and maxillofacial surgeons, dentists and others with an interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the classification of acquired composite maxillary defects.
- Compare the reconstruction alternatives for composite maxillary defects based on location.
- Describe the management of osteoradionecrosis based on current evidence.
