Mayo Clinic Dental Reviews is a unique, multifaceted selection of relevant topics integrating medicine and dentistry. Presentations made by Mayo Clinic Faculty along with distinguished visiting faculty provide a balance of contemporary information with a comprehensive overview of medical and dental topics including integrated and collaborative patient care, research, surgery and dentistry.
Target Audience
This course is designed for dentists, dental hygenists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, physician assistants
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Recognize the inter-relationship between systemic health status and oral health conditions in patients seeking oral health care.
- Identify Integrated care models, practice guidelines and innovative treatment solutions for patients needing complex care in dentistry.
- Define the impact of stress, distress, burn-out on the well-being of healthcare professionals in current times.
