DESCRIPTION
The focus of this lecture series is to bring external experts in the field with primary research expertise to speak to the enterprise audience while also fulfilling local site meetings, faculty development, and trainee interactions. The topics of interest will include innovation in palliative care, program and academic development, and research.

Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Resident Fellows, Social Workers, and Students.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify cutting edge research and resources to further palliative care knowledge at Mayo Clinic and beyond.
  • Integrate successful aspects of palliative innovation at other institutions to Mayo Clinic palliative medicine.
