Mayo Clinic's Clinical Reviews and Primary Care Update seeks to update physicians on the latest recommendations of medical subspecialties important to the primary care physician. This comprehensive program consists of lectures, workshops and panel discussions on topics of general interest in various areas of medicine.
LIVE (in-person) attendees must comply with all live course requirements and guidelines and applicable state and local COVID-19 travel restrictions, guidance and resources.
Please note that all live course attendees must:
Complete COVID-19 testing of any kind and provide attestation that a negative test result was received within 72 hours or less of the event start date or provide attestation that you received any positive COVID-19 test result within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since COVID-19 infection, and that you are currently asymptomatic.

Target Audience
This course is a comprehensive program for family physicians, general internists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses that need a review of primary care subjects and seek to gain new strategies of care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate elevated liver enzymes
- Describe evidence-based heart failure therapy
- Differentiate between benign malignant skin lesions
- Identify REM sleep disorders
- Assess pleural effusions
- Discuss complications of checkpoint inhibitor therapy
- Identify causes of shoulder pain
- Select therapy for neurocognitive behavioral disorders
- Discussions about current diagnostic and therapeutic options for common illnesses seen in primary care
- Identification of new evidence-based treatment using the most up-to-date clinical and scientific information

Coastal view rooms are reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $279 per night plus applicable taxes. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of June 3, 2022, whichever comes first. The resort has extended the group rate three days prior and three days after the course based on availability. Check-in time is after 4 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.. Rooms are limited so we encourage early booking. All parking at the resort is provided by valet service. Overnight parking at the resort is $18 per night and day parking is complimentary.
