This three-day course provides internists and general practitioners with up-to-date information on rheumatologic disorders and provides a complete general review for rheumatologists, rheumatology fellows and advanced practice providers. From this course, participants gain a better perspective of how to recognize and diagnose common rheumatologic disorders and determine which patients can be managed in their practices and which need referral to a specialist. Residents and fellows will have an opportunity to participate by submitting original studies for poster presentations.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Examine the foundational and current understanding of the etiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment strategies for rheumatologic conditions, emphasizing recent clinical and therapeutic advancements.
- Develop proficiency in interpreting rheumatology laboratory tests, with a focus on accurate analysis and application to clinical decision-making.
- Distinguish between rheumatologic conditions suitable for management in primary care and those requiring referral to a rheumatology specialist, based on clinical presentation and diagnostic criteria.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage pregnant patients with underlying autoimmune rheumatic diseases by applying current clinical guidelines and selecting appropriate therapeutic approaches.
