The 5th Annual Mayo Clinic Specialty Updates for the Generalist Team 2026 at the Margaritaville Resort Orlando is a three-day continuing medical education course that covers internal medicine subspecialties with updates and new guidelines that impact clinical practice. Mayo Clinic experts present on various topics in internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, endocrinology, psychiatry, rheumatology, dermatology, hematology, allergy, pulmonology, neurology, surgery, and women's health.
Target Audience
This course is intended for general internists, family medicine providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and internal medicine subspecialists.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review of current standard-of-care for chronic medical conditions including heart failure, diabetes, and acne
- Discuss the diagnosis and management of ADHD in adults
- Evaluate the approach to GI conditions including microscopic colitis and motility disorders
- Update treatment options for cerebrovascular disease and kidney stones
