Mayo Clinic's 8th Annual Rheumatology Review for Primary Care is a three-day CME course that provides internists and general practitioners with up-to-date information on rheumatologic disorders and provides a complete general review for rheumatologists and rheumatology fellows. Participants gain a better perspective of how to recognize and diagnose common rheumatologic disorders, and determine which patients can be managed in their practices and which need referral to a specialist.

Target Audience
This course is designed for internists and general practitioners and is applicable to clinical rheumatologists and rheumatology fellows, as well as allied health staff.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Review basic clinical and therapeutic aspects of rheumatologic conditions
- Improve interpretation skills for rheumatology laboratory testing
- Identify patients that can be managed in primary care practices, and patients that need to be referred to rheumatology
- Review up-to-date information about etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment of rheumatologic disorders
