The 2024 Clinical Reviews course is designed and intend for primary care, family medicine and internal medicine physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals interested in the care of primary care patients. The four-day continuing medical education course features updates and management strategies on various diseases. A multidisciplinary faculty representing Mayo Clinic Arizona provide state-of-the-art updates on topics including gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pain management, nephrology, pulmonology, racial and ethnic disparities, mental health, dermatology, cancer screening, end-of-life care, and pharmacology.

This course is designed for family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Define controversies in men’s and women’s health.
- Describe evidence-based treatment strategies for hypogonadism.
- Integrate treatment strategies for patients with chronic headaches.
- Identify treatment strategies for patients with high-risk breast cancer.
- Describe common dermatologic problems in primary care patients.
- Review treatment strategies for hypertension.
- Describe approach to the management of hyperlipidemia.
- Review treatment options for osteoporosis.
- Review management of chronic kidney disease.
