This comprehensive endocrinology course provides state-of-the-art updates in managing complex endocrine disorders across the lifespan. Participants explore advances in obesity treatment, including physiologic adaptation to weight loss and novel pharmacotherapies targeting appetite regulation. The program highlights emerging evidence in thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary tumors, diabetes technologies, osteoporosis, and reproductive endocrinology. Through lectures, panels, and case-based discussions, attendees refine their skills in diagnostic imaging, surgical considerations, and multidisciplinary care. Breakfast roundtables and expert-led sessions encourage dialogue on controversies and evolving guidelines. This course is designed for endocrinologists, internists, and allied health professionals committed to excellence in endocrine care.

Scholarship Application
ASEPA members may use this form to be considered for a scholarship to attend Endocrine Update 2027. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and are due by November 20, 2026, or until all scholarships have been claimed, whichever comes first.
Target Audience
This course is designed to meet the professional needs of practicing endocrinologists, endocrine surgeons, pharmacists, and interested internists who care for adults with endocrine disorders.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate current evidence-based guidelines and recent literature to diagnose and manage common and complex endocrine disorders, including thyroid, adrenal, reproductive, and metabolic conditions.
- Integrate evolving technologies, therapies, and risk stratification tools into individualized treatment plans to optimize patient outcomes.
- Compare and justify the risks, benefits, and indications of medical, procedural, and surgical interventions in support of shared decision-making.
- Develop longitudinal management and transition plans (e.g., postpartum care, pediatric-to-adult transition, and specialty-to-primary care transfer) to improve long-term outcomes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate effective collaboration with primary care providers to enhance continuity, patient education, and evidence-based management.
- Evaluate and apply evidence-based diabetes management strategies, including the use of advanced technologies and postpartum interventions, to optimize glycemic control, reduce hypoglycemia, and lower long term metabolic risk.
- Integrate evidence-based exercise strategies, apply multidisciplinary and integrative approaches, and critically evaluate emerging therapies to optimize individualized osteoporosis management and reduce fracture risk.
- Apply a multidisciplinary approach to screening, surveillance, and treatment decisions for MEN1-associated neuroendocrine tumors
- Formulate an evidence-based plan for managing persistent or recurrent hyperparathyroidism in MEN1, including selection of surgical approach and nonsurgical adjuncts to optimize outcomes.
