This interactive workshop will provide participants with hands-on experience on concussion prevention strategies, workload monitoring, movement analysis, and “Heads Up Football” techniques aimed at reducing injury risk while optimizing athletic development.

Target Audience

This program highlights key topics in sports medicine, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment strategies. It is designed for athletic trainers, physical therapists, primary care providers, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, and other healthcare professionals interested in this field. It also promotes evidence-based, patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Learn how to monitor athlete performance, workload, and injury risk in youth football players. 
  • Demonstrate evidence-based “Heads Up Football” techniques and safety strategies focused on concussion prevention, safe tackling mechanics, and athlete health optimization.
