CME Live and Live Stream Course for NP/PA in Primary Care SEMN. Internal offering only. This course is offered to newly hired and current NP/PA staff in Primary Care SEMN twice a year. The course provides an opportunity to learn case-based approaches in the evaluation of primary care topics. Topics for future skills days are determined by the course evaluations of what staff requests as areas of greatest learning need.

Target Audience

This course is open to only Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health Systems employees.

This course is designed for Allied Health Professionals, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians and Physician Assistants.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe one new recommendation for the treatment of asthma.
  • Identify patients who would benefit from PREP.
  • Discuss one management strategy for the evaluation of adult ADHD.
  • Describe best practices of type 2 diabetes care.
  • Summarize exclusion criteria for a joint injection.
