This livestream burnout CME course helps physicians and healthcare professionals recognize signs of burnout, identify key drivers, and develop practical prevention plans. Led by a preventive and occupational psychiatrist, the course explores work life balance, lifestyle habits, values, goals, and the role of positive support systems.

Target Audience

This course is relevant for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, and allied health staff across all specialties in healthcare.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize signs and symptoms of burnout
  • Identify key drivers of burnout
  • Determine at least one personal action to prevent burnout in one's own practice or life
  • Examine how personal values influence choices and behaviors in the context of the effort-reward imbalance model
