This hands-on workshop will provide participants with practical exposure to orthobiologic and regenerative medicine procedures used in modern sports medicine and musculoskeletal care. Attendees will learn principles of biologic therapies, patient selection, procedural planning, and ultrasound-guided regenerative interventions through live demonstrations and interactive procedural training. Topics will include platelet-rich plasma (PRP), orthobiologics, tendon and joint applications, and emerging regenerative treatment strategies designed to optimize healing and recovery. 

Target Audience

This program highlights key topics in sports medicine, with an emphasis on diagnosis and treatment strategies. It is designed for athletic trainers, physical therapists, primary care providers, orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists, and other healthcare professionals interested in this field. It also promotes evidence-based, patient-centered care and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss the indications, mechanisms, and evidence supporting orthobiologic and regenerative medicine therapies for musculoskeletal injuries and degenerative conditions.  
  • Demonstrate fundamental techniques for ultrasound-guided regenerative procedures, including preparation, procedural guidance, safety considerations, and biologic injection applications in sports medicine.
