This course is designed to update physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare providers practicing clinical gastroenterology and hepatology about new approaches to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Faculty present data on multiple topics including general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal neoplasia, esophageal diseases, motility, nutrition, pancreaticobiliary disorders, endoscopy and hepatology.

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, has reserved a block of coastal view rooms for course participants at a special group rate of $315 (USD) per room, per night, single/double/triple/quad occupancy, plus applicable state, and local taxes. A limited number of rooms are available three days prior to and three days after course dates. The maximum number of people per guest room is four.  A maximum of two children under the age of eighteen per room are complimentary.

Make your reservation online or call 888-239-1217 before the room block fills or the cut-off date, Tuesday, February 28, 2023.  Reservation requests received after February 28th will be accepted at the group rate pending availability of coastal view rooms. Reference “Mayo GI Hep 2023” when making your reservation via telephone.

For Mayo Clinic GI Hep, the mandatory resort fee is $15.00 (regularly $40) per room, per day, plus tax and includes the following services and amenities:

  • Enhanced Wireless In-room Internet Access for up to 5 Devices
  • Local, Toll-free and Domestic Long Distance Phone Calls
  • Fitness Class of the Day
  • Bicycle usage for up to two bikes, for 2 hours
  • Golf Club Driving Range Balls and use of Golf Practice Facilities
  • Tennis Court privileges, including racquet and balls, for one hour
  • Beach Umbrella (one per room)
  • Beach Boogie Boards (up to 1 per day, per room)

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m.; check-out time is 11:00 a.m. 

Reservations cancelled within seven days of arrival will be charged both the first and last night's room and tax.

Parking:  Day valet parking is complimentary; overnight valet parking will be provided at a reduced rate of $12 per night. 

All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
