This course is designed to refresh and strengthen the knowledge of professional healthcare professionals practicing in clinical gastroenterology and hepatology. Faculty present updated approaches to the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. The topics covered include but are not limited to general gastroenterology, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer, esophageal diseases, motility disorders, nutrition, pancreaticobiliary disorders, genetic testing in GI, and hospital medicine for gastrointestinal and liver conditions. Complex cases and new technology are presented by expert endoscopists and clinicians via short videos with the opportunity for panel discussions to enrich presentations.

Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals practicing in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss current approaches to pancreatic cyst management.
- Summarize management strategies for eosinophilic esophagitis.
- Review current management approaches for irritable bowel syndrome.
- Discuss evidence-based strategies for colorectal cancer screening.
- Recognize best practices in the management of diverticulitis.
- Describe management strategies for patients with IBD including Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.

A block of rooms at a special hotel group rate of $419 (USD), single/double occupancy, plus applicable local and state taxes, per night, is available for course participants and guests. Group rate offered three (3) days pre and post based on group room availability of contracted guestroom types.
For Mayo Clinic Gastroenterology & Hepatology 2027, the discounted resort fee is $20.00 (regularly $60) per room, per day, plus tax and includes the following services and amenities:

- Daily Yoga and Pilates classes on the lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean

Parking Fees:
