The 2026 Mayo Clinic Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Cancer Symposium will review multidisciplinary, stage-specific management of hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers. It highlights advances in immunotherapy, targeted and biomarker-driven treatments, surgical and transplant strategies, and emerging technologies such as AI and liquid biopsy to optimize patient outcomes.

Target Audience
This course is intended for surgeons, gastroenterologists, medical and radiation oncologists, laboratory scientists, and allied health professionals in the following specialties: medical oncology, hematology, gastroenterology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, pathology, radiology, and laboratory research science.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate current first-line and evolving systemic treatment strategies for advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), including anti-angiogenic/immunotherapy combinations, STRIDE, and dual checkpoint inhibition approaches.
- Apply stage-specific, multidisciplinary treatment strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma, incorporating surgical, locoregional, and transplant-based approaches.
- Integrate precision oncology into hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers by utilizing biomarkers (e.g., HER2, IDH1/2, FGFR) and liquid biopsy technologies to guide targeted therapy selection.
- Assess optimal management strategies for pancreatic adenocarcinoma across disease stages, including neoadjuvant/adjuvant sequencing, resectability criteria, and emerging RAS-targeted therapies.
- Develop evidence-based treatment plans for rare hepatic and pancreatic tumors, including fibrolamellar HCC, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs), and uncommon exocrine pancreatic malignancies.
- Analyze emerging technologies and population health strategies, including artificial intelligence for early cancer detection and national approaches to addressing biliary tract cancer burden.

All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
A limited number of hotel rooms for this course will be available to book as part of a room block reserved for this course at a rate of $369 for Thursday November 12, Friday November 13 and Saturday November 14, 2026. All room reservations within the course room block must be made by Friday, August 7, 2026. Individual attendee’s reservations not canceled at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the confirmed arrival date will be subject to the cancellation charge equal to the first night’s room/suite rate and tax.
The Guest Room/Suite rates quoted above are exclusive of the daily resort fee and applicable state and local taxes room tax (“Clark County”) at the time of stay which is currently 13.38%, subject to change. A $55.00 daily resort fee plus the applicable state and local taxes. Room Tax is applied to each hotel room reservation and includes amenities.
For all registered guests, the resort fee includes: In-room Wi-Fi: four (4) devices per room at a standard 10Mb connection speed, access to the fitness center for two people, access to resort pools and sundecks, a dedicated concierge offering special dining access, spa reservations and golf tee times, unlimited local, domestic long distance (including Hawaii & Alaska) and toll-free calls, complimentary digital access to more than 5,000 newspapers and magazines from around the world, and Alexa in-room entertainment services and room controls.
