This interactive course delivers practical, up‑to‑date insights into rapidly advancing esophageal care. Engaging case‑based sessions, hands‑on opportunities, dynamic faculty guidance, and real‑time discussion highlight key developments in diagnostics and endoscopic therapy for immediate clinical application.

Includes Saturday Morning Concurrent Sessions:

  • Hands-on workshop for Endoscopic Mucosal Resection, Cryotherapy, Techniques of Endoscopic Closure Devices, Techniques of Esophageal Stent Placement, Radiofrequency Ablation, Esophageal Laboratory Testing.  (Available for Live In-person Attendees Only)
  • Special Advanced Practice Provider Session - Updates in the Diagnosis & Management of Esophageal Disorders (Live & Livestream)

Target Audience

This course is designed for practicing gastroenterologists, fellows and residents in gastroenterology. Thoracic surgeons, otolaryngologists and pulmonologists, as well as other healthcare professionals with an interest in esophageal diseases may benefit from this program.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe long term management strategies for eosinophilic esophagitis, including approaches to remission and maintenance therapy.
  • Differentiate gastroesophageal reflux from other esophageal and functional disorders using an evidence based framework.
  • Summarize emerging therapies and current evidence relevant to the management of gastroesophageal reflux.
  • Appraise emerging technologies for Barrett’s esophagus screening and risk stratification.
  • Identify key technical principles involved in endoscopic eradication therapy for Barrett’s esophagus.
  • Interpret high resolution manometry and impedance planimetry findings to guide evaluation of esophageal motility disorders.
  • Evaluate indications, technical considerations, and outcomes associated with POEM for achalasia and obstructive motility disorders.
  • Review technical principles of endoscopic submucosal dissection and submucosal tunneling techniques in the management of esophageal neoplasia.

Daily Resort Fee ($35):

The daily resort fee of $35 per room per night for all attendees staying at the resort includes the following:
