Title: Long-Duration Oral Vancomycin to Treat Clostridioides Difficile in Patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease is Associated with a Low Rate of Recurrence

Objectives:

1. Review the prevalence, morbidity and mortality of c. diff colitis in IBD patients

2. Compare efficacy of short course versus extended course vancomycin therapy for c. diff treatment in IBD patients

3. Discuss how treatment options for c. diff in IBD patients are different than the general population
