This course is designed for patients, their families and the public who are interested in the essential health issues surrounding leiomyosarcoma as well as other sarcomas.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Review up-to-date information on diagnosis of sarcoma
  • Describe surgical interventions, emerging therapies, research and patient care for sarcoma
  • Identify medical options for treating advanced stage sarcoma including innovative research trials
  • Understand practical approaches to survivorship

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
