Mayo Clinic Course Directors: Axel Grothey, M.D.

This one-day educational program will provide hematology and oncology clinicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with an overview of the most recent advances in the treatment of various oncologic malignancies, based on abstracts presented at the June 2017 annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).  Invited speakers choose exciting and relevant abstracts presented at the ASCO meeting and discuss their clinical relevance to the oncology practice.

The Minnesota Society of Clinical Oncology is pleased to invite the oncology fellows and faculty to an educational program immediately following the Mayo Clinic Oncology Review on July 22, 2017, at Loews Minneapolis Hotel from 3:30-6:30 p.m.
 
Attendees will learn from the experts on how negotiate a contract and will be able to participate in an open discussion forum with early career practitioners and established oncologists. Physicians and practitioners from different institutions will discuss their career trajectory and share their personal pearls of wisdom for practicing outside the scope of academia. Fellow attendees will earn a monetary participation award for attending the event (must be present at the event to receive the award).
