Mayo Clinic's 6th Annual Hematology/Oncology Challenges and Advances in Patient Care for NPs, PAs, and Nurses 2023 will focus on the needs of advanced practice providers, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses regarding the care of patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies. The course will feature lectures, case presentations, and panel discussions.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify the indications for immunotherapy, target therapy, and radiation therapy and be able to formulate a treatment plan for complications
- Identify updated knowledge of common strategies for diagnosis and treatment of hematologic and oncologic malignancies
- Review indications for bone marrow transplant and Chimeric antigen therapy (CAR T-cell therapy) treatment and complications
- Increase knowledge of palliative care, cancer genetics, and sexuality as essentials tools for cancer patient care
- Promote career development skills by providing interactive strategies to enhance career development, publication, and presentation skills
