Internal Medicine Pathways to MOC 2020

Mayo Clinic, in collaboration with Kaiser Permanente, will be offering an intensive maintenance of certification course. The course, which includes faculty from both Mayo Clinic and Kaiser Permanente, is designed to provide practicing physicians a comprehensive overview of all areas in internal medicine.
Registration Fee: $1,075.00
This course is designed for general internists, internal medicine subspecialists, family medicine physicians, and other primary healthcare professionals.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Apply clinical reasoning to uncommon manifestation of common problems.
- Apply clinical reasoning to common symptoms of uncommon medical problems.
- Review key images and key points to enhance knowledge.
- Implement strategies regarding evaluation and management of internal medicine diseases.
Attendance at this Mayo Clinic course does not indicate nor guarantee competence or proficiency in the performance of any procedures which may be discussed or taught in this course.
Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees and their guests with special course rates at The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, California.
In order to receive the special rate of $269 plus tax, reservations must be made before the room block fills or before the cutoff date of February 13, 2020, whichever comes first. Reservations are taken following this based on space and rate availability.
Make reservations online or by calling (707) 251-1900 and ask for "Central Reservations". Please reference the Internal Medicine Pathways to MOC when making your reservation. All travel arrangements are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
There will be a Resort Fee of $25.00 per room, per night which includes: A complimentary bottle of wine per stay, two daily bottles of water, use of the Hotel’s fitness studio, basic internet access, in-room coffee and tea, daily electronic newspaper access via PressReader, unlimited local and toll-free phone calls, Meritage Resort self and valet parking, evening shuttle to downtown Napa and Shuttle to Eagle Vines and Chardonnay Golf Courses (using Hotel vehicles only). Resort Fee is subject to applicable taxes at the time of arrival, currently 14.3%.
Mayo Clinic School of CPD and Kaiser Permanente are not responsible for expenses incurred by an individual who is not confirmed and for whom space is not available at the meeting. Costs incurred by the registrant such as airline or hotel fees or penalties are the responsibility of the registrant.

ABIM Maintenance of Certification (MOC)
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 18.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
Participation information will be shared with ABIM through PARS.
Other Healthcare Professionals
A certificate of attendance will be provided to other healthcare professionals for requesting credits in accordance with state nursing boards, specialty societies, or other professional associations.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to email@example.com. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
