The 2019 Pathologists’ Assistant Symposium is a combination of lecture/didactic format along with hands-on workshops.  Topics will range from the basics of several major anatomic pathology areas (breast, dermatology, renal, hepatic pathologies) to the new realms of advancing research techniques (3D cell modeling) and unique tumor evaluations (RNA sequencing and the impact on treatments).  There will be presentations on the expansion of the Pathologists' Assistant roles, the impact of pathologists' work on patient care and communication of those impacts.
