This course will provide attendees with an overview of 14 neurological emergencies, including acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, meningitis/encephalitis, coma after cardiac arrest and spinal cord injury. The course is designed for a broad group of providers, including emergency medical service paramedics, nurses, residents, fellows, primary care physicians, and physicians specializing in emergency medicine, intensive care, infectious diseases, neurology, and neurosurgery. Attendees are encouraged to bring laptops or tablets to take emergency neurological life support (ENLS) online quizzes. Attendees who pass the quizzes will receive an ENLS certificate from the Neurocritical Care Society.

Rooms are reserved for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $289 per night plus applicable taxes. In order to receive the special rate, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the expiration date of February 20, 2018, whichever comes first. The resort has extended the group rate three days prior and three days after the course based on availability. Check-in time is after 3 p.m. and check-out time is by noon. Call the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas and identify yourself as a participant of the Mayo Clinic Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS) Course.

Rooms are limited so we do encourage early booking. Overnight parking at the resort is $24 per night and parking charges are subject to change. A charge of $50.00 will be added for each guest over double occupancy with a maximum of three guests per room. There is a daily resort fee of $29.00 which includes Premium high speed internet access for multiple devices in guest rooms, the lobby, the Veranda Restaurant, the Spa and at the Pool.; access to Mandalay Bay pool, lazy river and wave pool (seasonal); in-room local and toll-free call; and in-room coffee/tea maker.

This activity has been planned and implemented by Ciné-Med and the Neurocritical Care Society.  Ciné-Med is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This activity has also been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Once you complete the course, you will access a feedback module to claim your credits.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
