Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Differentiate Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) and Myelin Oligodendrocyte Glycoprotein Antibody Disease (MOGAD)
  • Identify neurologic infections associated with different immunosuppressant medications in MS and autoimmune neurology patients
  • Identify the correct neural antibody test to order when evaluating autoimmune neurological disorders
  • Describe the therapeutic approach to autoimmune encephalitis
  • Identify the role of novel Btk inhibitors in the management of multiple sclerosis
  • Be aware of the updated diagnostic criteria for NMOSD and its application in clinical practice
