The Neurology in Clinical Practice conference is an annual Mayo Neurology course that brings together a multidisciplinary faculty from across our three campuses in Rochester, MN; Jacksonville, FL; and Scottsdale, AZ. The course format consists of case-based presentations in the morning and is reinforced with optional afternoon workshops. This program will explore common neurology clinical problems and is intended to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based review of recent advances in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and management of neurological disorders. The course is planning to offer an American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) MOC Self-Assessment activity.

Target Audience
This course is designed for any provider who sees patients with neurologic diseases, including neurologists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians (including internists and family care practitioners), nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Diagnose and manage common neurologic disorders
- Manage patients with acute stroke with consideration of secondary prevention options
- Differentiate various types of seizures
- Recognize and treat neurologic CNS infections
- Recognize and treat various headache types
- Formulate an approach to the diagnosis and management of peripheral nervous system disorders
- Recognize and treat various forms of dementia and Parkinson’s disease
- Evaluate and treat patients with multiple sclerosis and recognize its mimickers
- Recognize the roles of neuroimaging and electrodiagnostic, genetic, and autonomic testing in the management of neurologic disease
- Develop an approach to seizure management

There is a limited block of guest rooms reserved at a special course rate of $289 per room per night with double occupancy; $20 per additional person up to quadruple occupancy per night. There is no resort fee. To receive the special group rate, please identify yourself as a registrant of the Mayo Clinic Neurology in Clinical Practice conference and make your reservation before the room block is filled or by the expiration date of June 20, 2022. When making your reservations, it is necessary to guarantee the room with a deposit of one night’s Room & Tax charge to a credit card. Valet Parking is $44.00 per day maximum and Self-Parking $17.00 per day (parking charges are subject to change without notice)
Porterage gratuity of $5.25 in and $5.25 out, per person, per room will be at the individual’s own discretion. Housekeeping gratuity of $5.00, per room, per night will be at the individual’s own discretion.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
