"Update on Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration (FTLD) and Goals of the ALLFTD Consortium Research Program"
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify the major phenotypes, clinicopathologic, and clinicogenetic associations in FTL
- Identify the key clinical, neuropsychologic, genetic, and neuroimaging findings in FTLD – focused on behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA)
- Summarize the key knowledge gaps in FTLD clinical practice and research
- Summarize the goals of the ALLFTD Consortium research program which seek to address several of these knowledge gaps
