The field of breast cancer care is evolving so rapidly it is almost impossible to keep pace, and the breast cancer provider is constantly bombarded with new innovations. There is a constant array of promises, from next novel breast imaging, to new surgical approaches, to less toxic targeted individualized treatment instead of chemotherapy, to artificial intelligence either enhancing or replacing the provider. Breast cancer care is an integrated multidisciplinary practice and advances are occurring across the spectrum of care; thus, it is critical for providers who care for patients with this disease to be up to date. Join us as we help distinguish the noise from what new therapeutics, technologies, and techniques may be truly practice changing.

Target Audience
This course is designed to meet the professional needs of practicing surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and pathologists who focus on breast cancer care.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the benefit of fat grafting to reduce irradiation fibrosis
- List operative approaches to manage lymphedema
- Describe how multiple genes can interact to increase the risk of breast cancer
- List methods to de-escalate cancer care in low risk patients

Rochester, Minnesota, is a friendly city that greets thousands of visitors from around the world each year. The city is serviced by a modern international airport with multiple flights and connections daily. Access to and from the airport is provided by taxi, shuttle service, and rental car. The airport is located approximately 10 miles from the Mayo Clinic campus.
Note to Travelers: Several cities in the United States are named Rochester. When you make airline reservations and check your baggage, be sure that your destination is Rochester, Minnesota (RST) and that your baggage has been properly tagged.
Flying through the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is another option. There are two shuttle services that provide direct service to Mayo Clinic and the surrounding area. Travel time is approximately 75 minutes.
