The program is packed with valuable insights for practitioners, equipping them with fresh knowledge and practical tools for their professional endeavors. We will delve into recent breakthroughs in vaccines, travel recommendations, treatments for prevalent infections, as well as HIV, STDs, and TB management. Additionally, we'll explore emerging diagnostic tests and strategies for their optimal application in clinical practice.

Target Audience
Physicians and advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, PharmDs) engaged in family medicine, hospital medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, women’s health, general pediatrics, geriatrics, and anyone with interest in updating their knowledge of primary care management of infectious diseases and coccidioidomycosis.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate new strategies for treatment of common infections in an era of resistance
- Recognize the role for new vaccines to prevent illness and morbidity
- Recognize the role of private-public health interactions to combat emerging health threats
- Translate new information on the prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted and associated diseases in adults
- Describe the pathways of care for long COVID
