This course offers Live (in-person) attendance.
Central Time Zone

This course is offered in collaboration with the Society of Trauma Nursing. The Pediatric Trauma Across the Care Continuum (PTACC) certification course is an essential educational program designed specifically for nurses who provide care to pediatric patients admitted with trauma-related injuries. Recognizing a critical gap in education for this specialized group, the PTACC course has been thoughtfully crafted to address the unique challenges and complexities associated with pediatric trauma care.
The course includes comprehensive modules covering key trauma topics such as trauma assessment, shock, abdominal, head and spine, musculoskeletal, thoracic, face/neck/eye injuries, burns, and physical abuse. In addition to didactic content, participants engage in rotating hands-on skill stations to reinforce learning. The course components include registration, a pre-test, access to an online textbook and learning modules, and an in-person post-test administered on the day of the course.
