A limited block of guest rooms at FireSky Resort and Spa have been reserved for attendees with a special course rate of $260 per night, up to quadruple occupancy. The rate includes maid and bellman gratuities; Internet access in guest rooms, lobby and meeting room; self-parking and nightly wine reception. Early reservations are recommended.

The group rate is honored three days prior and three days following the course dates, based upon space availability.

Travel

Ground transportation: Hertz is offering a reduced daily rate for participants attending the course. Advance reservations are recommended as cars are subject to availability.

Recreation and Leisure Activities

FireSky Resort and Spa is a boutique-style Kimpton Hotel that makes it easy to indulge in any of your favorite passions with its central location in Old Town Scottsdale.

If you enjoy shopping, Scottsdale Fashion Square, located one block from the resort, is home to hundreds of stores for savvy shoppers to enjoy. Scottsdale Waterfront provides additional shopping options.

For art and culture enthusiasts, there is Taliesen West — The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, Scottsdale ArtWalk, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), the Phoenix Art Museum, the Heard Museum of Native Cultures and Art, the Musical Instrument Museum and the Arizona Science Center.

For other entertainment, you can enjoy a show at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, step out for a night of dancing at one of many nightclubs, or have a laugh at the Comedy Spot.

Scottsdale offers many restaurants of all varieties.

There are an astounding 250 golf courses in the area as well as horseback riding, mountain biking, hot-air balloon rides, Jeep tours, hiking at Camelback Mountain, Sedona, the Salt River Canyon, the Phoenix Zoo and the Desert Botanical Gardens.

The San Francisco Giants' spring training facility, Scottsdale Stadium, is right down the street. Many of the MLB Cactus League spring training stadiums are located within easy traveling distance.

VisitPhoenix and the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau offer a variety of recreation and leisure activities in the area.

The registration fee includes access to a detailed online syllabus, emailed one week prior to the course. This allows you to view, save or print the syllabus before attending the course.
