Target Audience
This course is designed for physicians, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, and respiratory therapists caring for acutely ill patients in the ICU and Emergency Department.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Describe the importance of managing acutely ill and injured patients by the standardized, systematic, patient centered approach.
- Review up to date expert recommendation and guidelines in relevant topics from treating refractory hypotension and hypoxemia in COVID-19 patients to humanizing critical care and clinician burnout
- Describe skills to sort out relevant from irrelevant critical care practices
