The 7th Annual Inpatient Medicine for NPs & PAs: Hospital Medicine from Admission to Discharge fills your CME needs. This conference emphasizes clinical management of hospitalized patients in an interactive, case-based format with evidence-based lectures by experts in treatment pathways from admission to discharge.
Covid Requirements
- Complete COVID-19 testing and provide attestation that a negative test result was received within 72 hours or less of the event start OR provide attestation that a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result was received within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since the positive test, and that you are currently asymptomatic.
Anyone who does not fulfill the above requirements will be unable to attend the live (in-person) event.
Target Audience
This course is designed for internists, hospitalists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, and allied health from novice to experienced.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe how to provide high-level care to all patients based on the most recent sepsis practice guidelines, medical evidence and standards of care.
- Review the most recent treatment recommendations for acute VTE in hospitalized patients.
- Describe two ways to improve mortality rates and decrease recurrent exacerbation's for patients with chronic heart failure.
- Identify signs or symptoms of a patient who developed an acute exacerbation of heart failure and name three initial appropriate treatment options for hospitalized patients.
- Recognize electrolyte abnormalities commonly encountered in hospitalized patients and understand their management.

From the North:
