Cardiac Rhythm Devices 2022 Preconference

This course offers LIVE (in person) and LIVESTREAM attendance options.
This preconference is designed to provide the basic overview of indications for use, configuration, patient follow up, and troubleshooting for pacemakers and ICDs.
*COVID Guidelines for attendance at in-person conferences*
- To protect our communities, learners, and staff, effective March 1, 2022, all Mayo Clinic live (in-person) conference attendees must complete COVID-19 testing within 72 hours or less of the event start date and provide attestation that a negative test result was received OR provide attestation that a lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 test result was received within the previous 90 days, that it has been at least 10 days since the positive test, and that you are currently asymptomatic.

Target Audience
This CNE course is designed for cardiovascular technicians (CVT), registered cardiovascular specialists (RCIS), registered cardiac electrophysiology specialists (RCES), pacemaker nurses and technicians, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and cardiac rhythm analysis technician (CRATs).
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- List indications for a pacemaker and ICD
- Outline the nurse role for patient follow up for a pacemaker and ICD
- Describe troubleshooting strategies for a pacemaker and ICD

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Welcome to the Cardiac Rhythm Devices 2022 Preconference. Course materials will be available at the registration check-in an hour before the start of the conference or online.
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cne@mayo.edu.
If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.

A webcam and microphone is required for optimal attendance and participation in the livestream conference.
