Carotid Artery Disease: An Overview of Current Treatment Options Online CNE Course
Carotid artery disease is a major risk factor for stroke. This online CNE course will provide the learner with a basic understanding of carotid artery disease and treatments. This course presents four treatment modalities for carotid artery disease: medical management, carotid endarterectomy, transfemoral carotid artery stenting, and transcarotid artery revascularization (TCAR).

This online CNE course is designed for nurses and other healthcare professionals caring for patients with carotid artery disease.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Outline the significance of carotid artery disease as it relates to stroke risks
- Describe the four treatment modalities of medical management, carotid endarterectomy, transfemoral carotid artery stenting, and transcarotid artery revascularization

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

If the cancellation is made prior to the start of the activity, a refund less an administration fee of $25 will be issued. If the cancellation is made after the start of the activity, no refund will be issued. All refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
