Critical Care Specialty Days for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants is a 2 day CME event covering common diagnostic and management issues faced by APPs in Intensive Care.  

Registration is required for each session you wish to attend.
 

Target Audience

This course is designed for:  physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants within critical care in the Mayo and the Mayo Clinic Health System.

Learning Objectives

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Explain principles of diagnostic ultrasound imaging
  • Recognize anatomic landmarks and approach when completing ultrasound guided procedures.
  • Describe components of airway assessment.
  • List resources available to the APP should the patient have a difficult airway
