Diabetes Management Online CNE Nursing Conference

The Diabetes Management Online CNE Nursing conference is designed to provide an overview of diabetes management including updates to the 2023 ADA Standards of Care, implementing ADA recommendations and algorithms in clinical practice, advances in diabetes technology, patient education, nutrition, cardiovascular and mental health living with diabetes, and cultural aspects of care.

This continuing education activity is provided by a CBDCE Recognized Continuing Education Provider. Contact hours are applicable for CBDCE renewal.

6.50 ANCC hours apply toward advanced practice nursing pharmacology credits.

Target Audience

This online CNE conference is designed for nurses and healthcare professionals caring for patients with diabetes in all care settings.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Delineate implementation of ADA recommendations and algorithms in clinical practice
  • Identify new technologies for diabetes care
  • Describe management of a patient with diabetes focusing on cardiovascular, mental health, nutrition, and patient education
