During this conference, expert presenters deliver cutting-edge insights into the evidence supporting integrative medicine modalities, including acupuncture, massage therapy, and pain management strategies. They share the latest research, demonstrate clinical applications, and highlight best practices across these disciplines. Through dynamic presentations and interactive discussions, presenters guide participants in exploring how these approaches integrate effectively into whole-person clinical care. Presenters also foster meaningful connections among attendees, encouraging rich dialogue and collaboration.
Target Audience
Physicians, NPPAs, nurses, residents/fellows, and allied health staff in the fields of integrative medicine, internal medicine, pain medicine, sports medicine, and hematology/oncology.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Critically evaluate emerging clinical evidence, safety profiles, and appropriateness of various integrative medicine modalities
- Assess the potential risks, benefits, and interactions between integrative therapies and conventional medical treatments
- Incorporate evidence-based integrative therapies into real world clinical decision making
- Analyze complex patient scenarios through case-based discussions to determine practical frameworks for implementing whole-person care
