Nursing Leadership Series: Neurodiversity in the Workplace

This online course will provide information on Neurodiversity in the workplace. The session will discuss challenges experienced at work by adults with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and learning disorders and resources to assist with these challenges.

Target Audience

This CNE course is designed for nurses and healthcare professionals.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe positive aspects of neurodiversity in the workforce
  • Identify common challenges at work experienced by adults with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning disorders
  • Identify resources related to neurodiversity and workplace accommodations (e.g., JobAccommodation Network)
