This conference will provide an overview of new and advancing solid organ transplant clinical practices. Sessions will focus on living donor updates, pre-transplant treatments, ethics, patient education, and patient stories.

Mayo Clinic Arizona is approved by the ABTC to offer 13.00 Category 1 CEPTCs for this conference.

Target Audience

This LIVESTREAM CNE conference is designed for nurses and healthcare professionals caring for solid organ transplant patients.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify two treatments for pre-transplant patients.
  • List two nursing considerations when caring for solid organ transplant patients.
  • Describe living donor practices and how to locate resources.
  • Outline two new advancements in solid organ transplant.
