Youth E-Cigarette Use What Nurses Need to Know: Free Online CNE Nursing Course

Youth vaping has been deemed an epidemic by the FDA and the U.S. Surgeon General. Attendees will learn the basics of e-cigarettes, the risks of youth vaping, current trends, and youth-specific cessation resources.

Target Audience

This free online CNE course is designed for nurses and other healthcare practitioners.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the difference between traditional and commercial tobacco. 
  • Explain the health effects of vaping. 
  • List three reasons why youth vape.
  • Increase your confidence in how to help youth quit vaping or not start.
