Psychiatry Board Reviews - Online CME Course
|William V. Bobo, M.D., M.P.H.||Paul E. Croarkin, D.O., M.S.|
The Psychiatry Board Review course is unlike any other psychiatry board review course. It is aimed at graduating residents and psychiatrists who are certifying or re-certifying for their American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) boards – as well as psychiatrists looking to increase their overall fund of knowledge. Unlike question banks and online topic reviews, this course intentionally integrates self-assessments, focused lectures, and repeated quizzes.
This course is designed for physicians, psychologists, residents, and fellows who are preparing for the psychiatry board examination.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Articulate evidence-based treatment strategies for common and rare psychiatric illnesses.
- Identify areas of relative knowledge deficit relative to a peer group of psychiatrists.
- Use clinical reasoning and judgment to safety and effectively make clinical decisions based on best medical evidence.
Utilization of this Mayo Clinic online (enduring materials) course does not indicate nor guarantee competence or proficiency in the performance of any procedures which may be in this course.
