This three-day live and livestream conference offers comprehensive updates in ophthalmology and optometry that can be immediately applied to clinical practice. Topics will include neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma, retina, cornea and external disease, oculoplastic and orbital surgery, and more.


Case Presentation Session - Submission Deadline: January 27, 2023

As part of the Mayo Clinic Ophthalmology Update 2023, physicians are invited to submit a clinical case for presentation dedicated to the field of Ophthalmology. Case overviews should be no longer than 300 words and may include one figure or table. Cases will be evaluated based on quality, relevance to the conference theme, and teaching method. Cases will be allotted 5 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of discussion. Accepted case recipients will be notified no later than January 30, 2023. Please click the link below to apply.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the evaluation and management of patients with macular degeneration
  • Describe common eyelid, lacrimal and orbital disorders.
  • Identify appropriate management of patients with glaucoma.
