Target Audience
This course is designed for primary care providers, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, advance practice nurses, nurses and students who care for infants, children and adolescents.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Incorporate medical information from reviews of common and rarely encountered clinical scenarios into the daily practice of pediatric and adolescent medicine.
- Describe newly developed therapies for the management of rare pediatric diseases, pediatric cancer and lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender medical and psychological needs.
- Implement effective clinical strategies for diagnosing and managing a wide array of challenging problems in clinical practice.
