DESCRIPTION
Conferences take place on Mondays, a monthly basis, from 12:15-1:00 p.m.. Details and exceptions will be noted in the monthly notification.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Demonstrate improved understanding of prescription practices fueling the opioid epidemic.
  2. Summarize the indication, side effects, risks and benefits of fentanyl for pain.
  3. Describe the risks of prescribing benzodiazepines with opioids and strategies to counter risks.
