Mayo Clinic Artificial Intelligence Symposium
Course Director: Steve G. Peters. M.D.
Healthcare is an area with great opportunity for Artificial Intelligence. The vast volumes of machine-processable data generated in healthcare both enable and require the application of modern advanced AI methodologies. At the same time, the large number of news stories and reports of AI in the healthcare domain has created an environment filled with inflated expectations, baseless fears, and mismatches between use cases and technologies. The Mayo Clinic Artificial Intelligence Symposium will bring together researchers from Mayo Clinic and external experts, to learn about current AI activities in the healthcare domain, find new collaborators, and be exposed to the rich varied possibilities of AI for healthcare.
