The Epic User Re-Boot is a multi-day intense, focused, and immersive experience.  It is developed by Mayo Clinic providers, taught by Mayo Clinic Providers, and focuses on Mayo Clinic providers.  It focuses on efficiency rather than function.  This course will illuminate the skills and configurations required to run your clinic as efficiently as possible.  After describing the reasoning for the workflow recommendations, we will hardwire each build or skill with a Learning Lab experience.  This lets you learn by task repetition, individualized debunking, and mindful personnel reconfiguration.  Topics include In Basket, Chart Review, Documentation (including Fluency Direct), Order Entry

Target Audience

This course is designed for Primarily Physicians, however, may also have some Residents, Fellows, Nurses, Physician Assistants, and other allied health staff that utilize the EHR to provide patient care.

  • Integrate skills through continued practice
  • Recall efficient process for order entry and other processes to manage patient care
  • Apply learned efficiencies to everyday practice when caring for patients

ABIM
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 14.00 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

Participation information will be shared with ABIM through PARS.

ABOHNS
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to meet the expectations of the American Board of Otolaryngology’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.

ABPath
Mayo Clinic School of Continuous Professional Development is approved by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) to offer SAMs for meeting ABP requirements for maintenance of certification (MOC).
