Pan-African Continuing Medical Education Network 2018
The Pan-African Annual Medical conference is the first medical conference to health care professional mainly of African origin. It is meant to be the premiere healthcare and ACCME accredited conference to be conducted in North America. It is organized by People to People (P2P) and other universities here and abroad. P2P is a non-governmental, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care and reducing the spread of diseases in Africa, particularly in Ethiopia and in diaspora communities. This CME will update their members and others in the latest knowledge of medicine.
Registration will be managed by People to People, Inc.
Target Audience
Physicians, allied health care provides, fellows, residents, health care related students.
Learning Objectives
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
1) Identify the role of newer oral anticoagulants and their specific clinical utility
2) Apply the current treatment concept in pain management
3) Recognize the current management of common cardiac arrhythmia
4) Explain current management of COPD
5) Recognize the current management of Diabetes
6) Recognize how to incorporate complimentary and alternative medicine in modern medical practice
7) Describe important prognostic indicators of Hematological malignancies
8) Recognize some ophthalmologic manifestation of systemic diseases

Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Request for cancellations must be submitted in writing to cme@mayo.edu. When cancelling a registration for a course 14 days or more before the course start date, a full refund (minus a $75 administrative fee) will be issued in the same form of payment the registration was received. No refunds are granted less than 14 days before the course start date.
