Prioritizing and addressing diversity, equity and inclusion in workforce development and organizational culture is essential to providing optimal patient care, achieving health equity, and attracting and engaging the workforce of the future. At this groundbreaking CME course, participants join a national healthcare dialogue on this important subject and explore evidence-based solutions and innovative initiatives. Keynote presentations by leading experts and panel discussions cover health disparities, digital equity and much more.
Target Audience
This course is designed for all individuals interested in advancing health equity and diversity and inclusion in healthcare. It meets the professional needs of healthcare providers, social workers, nurses, hiring managers, HR professionals, supervisors, hospital leadership and administration, healthcare educators, and diversity and inclusion practitioners.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe practical strategies to implement equity, inclusion, diversity in work environments.
- Identify strategies to integrate innovation and technology within the healthcare industry.
- Summarize best practices to address health equity among staff members within the health care industry.
- Describe equitable and inclusive decision-making skills within the workplace.

Guest rooms have been reserved for attendees with a special course rate at The Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. In order to receive the special rate of $269/night plus tax, reservations must be made before the room block is filled or before the cut-off date of August 13, 2025, whichever comes first. After August 13, 2025, reservations will be taken on space and rate availability. Resort fee has been discounted to $20/day per room. Current parking rates are $20/night self-parking or $35/night valet parking.
