The Sex and Gender Medical Education Summit is a first of its kind. A national program dedicated to engaging educational thought-leaders in creating a road-map for integration of sex and gender-based evidence into medical and inter-professional education. During the conference, you will network with leaders and key stakeholders in medical education, have the opportunity to participate in creating a guidelines for student competencies in sex and gender medicine, be the first to see the results of a national sex and gender-based medicine survey of over 1000+ medical student participants, and review alignment of LCME standards with sex and gender-based medicine and much more!

Target Audience
This activity is geared towards medical education thought-leaders who are interested in incorporating sex and gender-based evidence into medical and inter-professional education.
Learning Objectives
• Analyze the current climate of sex and gender education in medical schools, with a special focus on sex and gender based health disparities;
• Assess curricular resources which can be utilized within Schools of Medicine and/or as interprofessional resources;
• Identify facilitators and barriers to translating sex and gender difference research into evidence-based clinical practice; and,
• Determine how best to address present and future needs to bridge the gaps and disparities between sex and gender medical education and clinical practice.
